Victoria N. Nichols, born in the Nation’s Capital of Washington, DC, grew up in PG County Maryland, and Spotsylvania, Virginia, respectively.  She has spent the past 22 years influencing the lives of secondary, post-secondary, and non-traditional students.  She is an educational administrator with encompassing experience in enrollment management; recruitment and diversity; academic success and advising; counseling; financial and strategic planning; retention; and academic affairs.  She is a God-fearing woman who embraces her purpose daily. 

Her passion in higher education is supported by a Master’s Degree in Educational Management from Strayer University and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Hospitality Management from Virginia State University.  She is also a resilient advocate for Historically Black Colleges and Universities. 

Her professional and community-based affiliations extend to The National Association of College Admissions Counselors; Virginia Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admission Officers; The American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers; The National Association of College Deans, Registrars, and Admissions Officers; The Masonic Order of the Eastern Star and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

Victoria is family-oriented and enjoys spending time with her husband, children, grand, and extended family members.  Her professional aphorism is “Meeting students where they are and impacting their lives one day at a time”.  She is humbled in her belief that “Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world”, 1 John 4:4.
