
Dr. Wandra Arrington received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Master of Science Degree in Agriculture, specializing in Agriculture Economics from Alcorn State University. She received a Ph.D. from Mississippi State University in Agricultural Science with an emphasis in Agricultural & Extension Education from the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and minor courses taken in Agricultural Economics.
Currently, Dr. Wandra Arrington is the Assistant Professor of Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness of Alcorn State University.
For more than 20 years, Dr. Arrington has been a member of numerous professional memberships/affiliations and has also participated in numerous ASU faculty and staff meetings, seminars, and committee meetings. Presently, Dr. Arrington serves on numerous community
advisory boards, task forces, and committees.
She is also an active donor and supporter of many charities and organizations in Mississippi. Dr. Arrington has received numerous awards, certificates of appreciation, and thank you letters/cards from youth, adults, students, schools, agencies, and organizations over the years for her dedicated service. Dr. Arrington is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and a charter member of Tau Beta Sigma National Honorary Band Sorority at Alcorn State University.
Dr. Wandra Arrington continues to believe that “Every individual deserves a chance for an education and we must never lose sight of this”.
